I am thrilled to be leading the work of Life Change Support Network UK – this is a very special charity committed to making significant impact on the lives of identified vulnerable people. They are very special people indeed and full of potentials.

Every one desserves a second chance, a third and more. We all do. Yes, many of the people we support have found themselves in wanton environments, others in unforseen change of circumstances but many yearn for constructively and are now heading towards a successful life. It is a joy to see lives turn around and focused – working with mentors and staff to secure a better future.

Having worked with vulnerable people and within the Social Care system for over 10 years, I have an in-depth understanding of the challenges such people face today within our communities. I have worked with some excellent charities within and outside the UK and have networked with other groups in commitment to changing lives of men, women and young people and leading this organisation towards giving dependable support and positive change – transforming lives!

For the past 12 years to date I have worked in Thurrock first with social care housing as a care assistant in Extra Care housing. Then 7 years ago I took up the post of Sheltered Housing Officer in which I managed Piggs Corner and Kynoch Court Complexes until 2 years ago.

I still work for Thurrock and now I have moved on to Tenancy Management as an Estates Officer for general needs. I have always worked with people even with my previous jobs.

I am a people’s person, I enjoy/take pleasure in supporting and working with different types of people and the best part of it is putting clients first and making sure everyone is treated with dignity and respect no matter what their colour, creed, culture or race is.

During my career, I have been able and always ready to lend a hand or give advice and if I am not able to meet the requirements or support an individual, I am aware of how to sign post them to the relevant people/department.

As a volunteer working with Life Support Network, I have been privileged to work with specialists and see people’s lives change for the better. It’s an exciting adventure – not a single day is boring. I get to use my skills as businessman to hone in and help out within the organisation. Nothing is more rewarding than to see young lives change and head in the right direction. Glad to be a part of their better future.
